I grew up without electricity or running water until I was 11 years old. I loved programming at an early age and would write complex (to me) logo programs in my spare time at school. My first computer at home was a Tandy 1000, years after they were obsolete. When I was in my teens I started building computers and selling them, learned computer graphics and 3D Studio and eventually transitioned over to web development by the end of the 90's. I have been building websites for 20 years now and have been using Drupal for 9 years. Over the last year we have been working on a new search overlay plugin for Drupal which we believe can really help the usability and user experience on a lot of sites.
